BIG 3 RACING
‘BIG 3’ - that’s Thomas Pietersen, his brother Pieter Jan Pietersen and Wynendaelen - formed a fresh racing team out of Antwerp, and I’m glad I could design their logo to match their obsession with speed, precision, and underground style. Inspired by Japanese street racing culture and the sleek chaos of Y2K, the mark is set with a design that feels like it's already moving. Built to turn heads - on the car, the gear, and inside their hidden garage, where the passion stays private but the performance speaks loud.
Beyond the logo, we built a label system: a set of modular symbols and graphic elements that let the team mix and match visuals depending on where it lands. Each label holds its own energy, but together they create a coded language that feels like part racing hierarchy, part society. For this first drop, we applied the labels across shirts, hoodies, longsleeves, socks, and caps - the first capsule. All about building a visual universe that moves as fast as they do.
