Paws up for Raket, for being my purrr-fect co-worker, even if deadlines aren't his

CHARLOTTE
DE WITTE
If you don’t know Charlotte de Witte, you’re probably living under a rock, but anyway…when Charlotte announced her back-to-back set with Yousuke Yukimatsu in Brooklyn, New York, I was honoured to be asked to create the visual branding for the event. The concept is built around an iconic American coin: a direct reference to the location and a strong visual foundation for the collaboration itself. By merging both artists’ portraits onto a single coin, the artwork reinforces the idea of a true back-to-back performance while creating a bold and instantly recognizable image.
Because of the unique nature of this collaboration, the visual identity is intentionally stripped back. Rather than overloading the design with information, the focus shifted toward a minimal (but bold) composition with neon-inspired typography that amplifies the raw energy of the event, this in combination with the coin. A big credit to Johanna Jaskowska for transforming that coin idea into a polished 3D design. This minimalist approach allowed the identity system to translate seamlessly across multiple formats and applications, from digital promotion to large-scale event assets.
I’m currently working on several ongoing projects for Charlotte de Witte, more coming soon.
