2024Assignment: visual branding


THE LOST DOGS

When Art Director Justina Honsel and the Lindenberg Hotel team invited me to collaborate on a charity project focused on stray dogs, I immediately said yes. Supporting rescue dogs is a cause close to my heart due to my past travels & volunteering, and I wanted to create a visual identity that would stand out in Bali’s vibrant tourist scene while staying true to the project’s compassionate mission.

To capture attention amidst Bali's busy streets, I chose bold neon pink as the core branding color. This choice not only demanded attention but also evoked urgency and playfulness, ensuring the project would be memorable and approachable.

After designing the wordmark, I paired this with childlike, expressive illustrations of dogs to highlight their vulnerability. The simple, naive style was designed to evoke empathy and create an honest connection with viewers, encouraging them to engage with the cause.
